Description
One-Step Roof Patch is an acrylic fiber mesh reinforced patching material that exhibits outstanding strength and flexibility. One-Step eliminates the need for the use of fabric. One-Step's unique fiber mesh modification provides superior reinforcement and strength as compared to roof patches utilizing standard fabric.
Uses
Ideal for repairing cracks, seams, flashings, vent pipes, chimneys, skylights, and more.
Directions
Clean Surface - Sweep off all dirt, dust, and debris. Remove rust, mildew, oil, grease, or other foreign material on the surface. Scrub roof with solution of TSP (Trisodium Phosphate) and water. Remove mold and mildew with bleach solution (1 part chlorine bleach and 3 parts water). Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry. Areas holding water lasting 2-3 days must be repaired using roof drains or other corrective drainage measures.
Applying Roof Coating - Stir pail thoroughly. Apply One-Step Roof Patch with a trowel or putty knife to a depth of at least 3/16" deep. Trowel Smooth.
